The health and safety of all participants, spectators, volunteers and staff is the highest priority and as such we have developed a set of Covid Safety Procedures that everyone must adhered to at the event. These procedures have been developed in order to comply with current Government Public Health Orders, our own Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service Covid policy and the Singleton Rugby League Club Covid policy.
The following is a summary of these procedures and I encourage you to share these with your teams. A full copy of our Covid Safety Procedures downloadable below.
Attendance Capacity
Limit of 1000 attendees including players, team officials and spectators will be imposed on the event. Teams will be allocated 25 tickets for players / official. The remainder of tickets will be allocated to event partners and general public.
Tickets will be only available via pre-purchase on website. Payment at the gate will not be accepted to ensure capacity limit is not exceeded.
A Livestream of the entire day has been arranged and will see the entire day’s action streamed through the website.
Screening/Sanitisation Station
Located at the pedestrian entry and vehicle entry to PIRTEK PARK for the duration of the event setup, event day and event pack up. All attendees will be required to sanitise hands upon arrival.
Attendees will be required to complete self-assessment health screening /wellness. Questions reflective of SURLFC policy, and include:
Attendees that refuse to complete the registration, sanitise or are showing symptoms listed in the wellness check will be asked to leave the venue immediately. Exemption will be provided to those that have medical reason for not being able to use hand sanitiser and will be requested to wash hands with soap and water.
Attendance Register
All attendees, no matter their capacity in which they are attending, are to complete electronic registration via QR code on their smartphone. Register is managed by Singleton United Rugby League Club / NSW Rugby League
Attendees that do not have access to a smart phone will be required to complete registration with event staff through a device provided. Attendees only permitted entry once registration is complete.
Covid-19 Hygiene Marshalls
Designated Covid-19 Hygiene Marshalls will be responsible for ensuring that all cleaning & sanitisation procedure are conducted throughout the day. Marshall will be easily identifiable with a hi-vis vest.
Social Distancing
Social distancing is an effective measure to reduce exposure. It is however recognized that it cannot be practiced in all situations and the aim is generally reduce the potential for transmission by:
Areas that would attract crowding of people to be demarcated as ‘no standing’ areas to ensure flow of people. These area primarily are around the clubhouse.
Sanitisation Stations
Hand sanitisation stations will be located around the venue during event day in addition to the main entry gate.
Change Rooms
All change rooms to be closed for the duration of event. Teams will there for be responsible to provide temporary change facilities within their dedicated areas at Pirtek Park.
Toilets
During game day, toilets are to be cleaned at minimum of hourly. With adequate Liquid Handwash, Paper towel and Hand Sanitiser to be provided.
Cash Payment
Whilst we will accept cash, contactless/card payment is preferred.
Maximum room numbers
All persons attending are to follow the sign posted maximum numbers allowed in each room
Sanitisation of Playing Equipment
Footballs will be cleaned at regular intervals throughout the date in accordance with SURLFC & NSWRL policy

- Avoid shaking hands, hugging and/or high fiving other people

COVID-19 CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

Each patron entering agrees and accepts that they must adhere to the current NSW Health Order in relation to COVID-19 which will change from time to time.
In accordance with Government health requirements in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the following applies to ALL patrons who either purchase or are allocated a ticket to enter the Pirtek Park for the event (depending on the current status of the Government health requirements which will change from time to time):
Further to the above, all working personnel (volunteers / staff / suppliers / contractors) entering Pirtek Park for the duration of the event including setup and pack down will be subject to the following:
Any person coming to the Pirtek Park either in a working capacity or in possession of an event ticket MUST NOT attend:

- Each ticket transaction / redemption process will include the capture of the primary redeeming patron’s contact details for tracing and tracking purposes;
- The primary redeemer will, through their completion of the ticket transaction / redemption process, be acknowledging that they understand the requirement to adhere to the COVID-19 health obligations at the time of the ticket redemption process.
- Each patron may be required from time to time to digitally check in via a QR Code system from time to time
- Sanitise hands upon entry to the venue.
Further to the above, all working personnel (volunteers / staff / suppliers / contractors) entering Pirtek Park for the duration of the event including setup and pack down will be subject to the following:
- The requirement for each person to digitally check in via a QR Code system to provide a name, mobile phone number and / or email address to be used for COVID-19 tracking and follow up purposes only; and
- The requirement to provide a declaration regarding certain matters relating to COVID-19 via the QR Code System
- Sanitise hands upon entry to the venue.
Any person coming to the Pirtek Park either in a working capacity or in possession of an event ticket MUST NOT attend:
- if they are unwell;
- if they have been diagnosed as having COVID-19; or
- if they have been in contact with someone with COVID-19, or currently awaiting COVID-19 test results.
All persons entering or intending to enter Pirtek Park are advised to:
- Avoid unnecessary contact (i.e. shaking hands, hugging, etc.);
- Maintain a physical distance of at least 1.5 metres from others where practical;
- Practice good hand hygiene;
- Immediately notify a Event Staff if they begin to feel ill, or are developing any COVID-19 symptoms (including fever, cough, sore/scratchy throat, shortness of breath, loss of smell/taste, runny nose, muscle pain, nausea/vomiting, diarrhea) whilst on site – Note: if a person is suffering from or displaying any of these symptoms, Northern NSW Helicopter Rescue Service reserves the right to refuse entry to or exclude that person from the venue;
