Competition Format.

The Charity Knockout Competition will be conducted under a 10’s style format. That is, 10 Players on the field per team with 10 minutes per half with a 5-minute break.
Teams will be divided into four pools of four with all teams competing in two pool games. Pools will be determined during September at the teams briefing meeting. The team in each pool on the highest points will advance to the semi-final match and subsequently the grand final match. Points will be calculated on Two-points for a win, One-point for a draw and Zero-points for Loss. A bonus point zone will be introduce in an area directly beneath the goal posts through to the dead-ball line. Try's scored in this bonus zone with receive an extra point to provide a 5 point try. |
